Interest in A Dairy Story has surged in the last week, with the film’s Facebook page growing from 270 followers to more than 4500 in just a few days, alongside emails and enquiries from across the UK, US, Canada, Australia, and beyond.
The surge followed BBC Scotland news coverage of the farm and the film, and social media sharing by Compassion in World Farming, one of the world’s leading farm animal welfare organisations. Messages have poured in from people asking when they can see the film, how they can support it, and telling us why the story matters to them.
In response, the filmmakers have created a survey inviting people to share their location, preferences for how they’d like to watch the film, and any connections that could help bring screenings to their communities. The responses will directly inform decisions about where and how to screen the film internationally.
The survey is available via the film’s website.
